18.5 ANTENNA
The antenna designed to effectively capture
radiated RF signals in the AM and FM bands.
LOCATION:
Antenna is located on the roof, above the Back
windshield glass on selected models. In some
models provision is given for fitment.
REMOVAL:
1. Remove the head lining assembly (Refer Body
section)
2. Disconnect the electrical connection.
3. Remove the fixing screw and take out the
antenna from the top.
REFITMENT
For refitment follow the procedure in reverse.
Torque specified for fixing screw : 4 Nm±1
18.6 MICROPHONE
A microphone is an acoustic-to-electric transducer
or sensor that converts sound into an electrical
signal.
The microphone helps communicate calls through
the infotainment system. In some models provision
is given for fitment.
LOCATION
It is fitted above the driver’s seat on the headlining
