PRECAUTION:

Use hook to hang tie rod ball joint

While disengaging driveshaft from gearbox

take care that intermediate bearing bracket

should not be damage.

Do not pull drive shaft excessively as the

plunge joint will come out of housing and

damage the boot.

Do not place the drive shaft on rough /

uncleaned surfaces. This might damage the

drive shaft boot.

FITMENT OF RH DRIVESHAFT

1. Align & Insert the driveshaft at gearbox end

through intermediate bracket.

NOTE:

While Assembly driveshaft to gearbox take

care that intermediate bearing bracket should

not be damage.

2. Assemble the Intermediate shaft bearing

mounting bracket with torque 1.5 – 1.7Kgm.

NOTE:

Groove (shown by arrow) of the bearing

mounting bracket should be at lower end

3. Insert the driveshaft at knuckle end & rotate

the driveshaft nut to pull the driveshaft in

knuckle.

4. Insert the LCA ball joint in knuckle & tighten

the mounting fastener with torque .4.9 ± 0.7

kgm & angular torque 180°±5°.

5. Insert the tie rod ball joint & tighten the nyloc

nut to knuckle at torque 11.5-15.5 kgm.
