24.REMOVAL BACKUP (REVERSE) LAMP
SWITCH,
REMOVAL
1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery
cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery
Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first
before disconnecting the negative battery
cable.
2. Remove the air cleaner body (Engine/Air Intake
System/BODY, Air Cleaner/Removal and
Installation).
3. Disconnect the backup lamp switch wire
harness connector.
4. Remove the backup lamp switch.
25.ASSEMBLY BACKUP (REVERSE) LAMP
SWITCH
1. Install the backup lamp switch and tighten to the
proper (Torque Specifications).
2. Connect the backup lamp switch wire harness
connector.
3. Install the air cleaner body (Engine/Air Intake
System/BODY, Air Cleaner/Removal and
Installation).
4. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped
with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect
the IBS connector to the negative battery cable.
