1.10 REAR FOG LAMPS

1.10.1 Description

The fog lights are used in low visibility weather conditions such as dense fog, heavy rain, heavy snow, or

smoke. The telltale indications for fog lamps are necessary. Rear fog lamps are used to make the vehicle

more easily visible from the rear in dense fog.

1.10.2 Conditional Requirements

Activation –

• IGN is ON &

• Position Lamps and Front Fog Lamps are ON or

• Head Lamps are ON &

• Rear Fog Lamp switch (facia) is activated

Deactivation –

• IGN is OFF or Position Lamps or Front Fog Lamps are OFF or

• Head Lamps are OFF or Rear Fog Lamp switch (facia) is de-activated

• Engine is being cranked

Tell-tale Indication –

Fog Lamp Switch LED is illuminated

On Fault –

BCM logs respective DTC.
