Composition:
The system consists of:
Brake / clutch fluid reservoir.
Clutch master cylinder fastened to the pedal
assembly that compresses the oil;
Pipe connecting clutch master cylinder and
the clutch slave cylinder;
Clutch slave cylinder fastened to the Gear
box;
Clutch release lever operating the Clutch
release yoke operating the thrust bearing;
Clutch release bearing ;
Clutch cover ;
Clutch disc assembly ;
Operation:
Clutch master cylinder operated by the clutch
pedal, pressurizes the hydraulic circuit and
operates the clutch slave cylinder
The latter acts on clutch release lever which will
turn the yoke assembly which will push the thrust
bearing overcoming the action of the diaphragm
springs. This action causes the release of the
clutch plate from the flywheel.
When the pedal is released, the action of the
diaphragm springs returns the mechanism to the
original position.
