ECU - On Vehicle Removal, Inspection and
Re-fitment Procedure :
Removal Procedure :
•
Remove negative terminal of battery.
Precaution :
•
Ensure that the removed terminal is away
from the battery negative post.
•
Pull out the lock of the ECU coupler.
•
Remove the earthing terminal of ECU.
•
Remove the Mounting screws of the ECU.
Inspection :
•
Check whether any pins are damaged /
bent.
Re-fitment procedure :
•
Place ECU in proper position.
•
Tighten the mounting screws of the ECU.
•
Connect the Earth connection of the ECU.
•
Connect the coupler of the ECU.
Precaution :
•
Ensure proper alignment of the ECU and
harness coupler.
•
• Pull the coupler to check proper fitment.
•
• Connect the battery negative terminal.
