1.4.18. TAIL GATE
REMOVAL
1. Open the tail gate.
2. Pull out Access cover tail lamp located inside
the “C” pillar trim
3. Disconnect the tail gate all wiring harness
located inside the “C” pillar trim and pull out
the wiring harness from outside.
4. Pull halfway the metallic clip present on ball
pin socket from both side and remove the gas
balancer. Follow the same procedure at other
end.
5. Remove the top hinge mounting of the tail gate
by removing two mounting bolts. Follow the
same procedure at the other end and separate
the tail gate from the vehicle.
FITMENT
For fitment follow the reverse procedure of
removal.
NOTE
Ensure proper tightening torque is given to the
hinges of tailgate. For torque value refer to the
tightening torque table.
