GEAR SHIFT

Cable type floor mounted with international H Pattern with reverse lift & shift

arrangement.

1.3. PRECAUTIONS:

1. Do not lubricate the Shifter Selector Cables.

2. Ensure that the engaging gears are properly seated over their respective splines.

3. Ensure that the Shifter finger lugs of transaxle are in line with each other while assembling the top cover

assembly.

4. Keep off the oil from clutch disc, flywheel and pressure plate surface.

5. Ensure that the oil seals are free from dust particles.

6. Use only recommended transaxle oil.

7. Do not reuse the oil seal, while assembling transaxle.

8. Lubricate drive shaft birfield and tripod joint only with grease gun as referred in manual.

9. Ensure that the boots are not damaged during assembly of driveshaft.

10. Assemble and remove the transaxle component bearings only with special tools.
