2. BLOWER SPEED CONTROL KNOB
a. Rotate the knob clockwise to increase the blower
speed up to MAX (Speed 7), whereas
anticlockwise would reduce the speed up to Min
(Speed 1).
Blower control shall indicate the control of the quan-
tity of airflow, which is accomplished by controlling
the speed of the blower fan. The Blower control shall
happen either manually or through an automatic
climate control algorithm
3. ECON MODE
During ECON AC operation, the system automatically
cuts off compressor at a higher temperature than
normal AC. The operation can be used during mild
weather conditions for better fuel efficiency. Comfort
level may be compromised during this operation.
4. MAX DEFROST BUTTON
a. This button directs the main airflow towards
windscreen for faster defrosting (It also overrides
any mode selection you may have made.)
b. When you turn off the button, the system returns
to its former settings.
On pressing this button the
LED is illuminated indicating air distribution to
max defrost mode is ON.
CAUTIONS
For your safety make sure you have a clear view
through all the windows before driving
.
5. REAR WINDOW DEMISTER – HRW (IF
APPLICABLE)
This button turns the rear window demister ON or
OFF. The system automatically deactivates. On
pressing this button, the LED is illuminated indicating
defogging of the rear window.
Rear demister/defogger will work only when Engine is
ON.
6. FRESH AIR / RECIRCULATION BUTTON
a. When the user pushes the Fresh air \ Recirculation
button , the LED turns ON, the air inlet door flap
shall move to the RECIRCULATION position and
air from the vehicle’s interior is sent throughout the
system.
b. When the user pushes the Fresh \ Recirculation
button and the LED turns off, air is brought in from
outside of the vehicle (fresh mode). Whenever
discomfort is felt, switch to fresh air mode.
c. The Fresh \ Recirculation control shall switch to
Auto operation immediately after the user presses
the Auto button. The Climate control algorithm
shall calculate the status of the Fresh \
Recirculation door flap. The LED shall not indicate
the status of the door flap during Auto operation.
NOTE
1. The outside air intakes for the climate control
system are at the base of windscreen. Keep this
area clear from leaves and other debris.
2. The system should be used with recirculation
air mode for faster heat up and cool down,
however keeping the system in recirculation
mode, particularly with AC OFF, can cause the
windows fog up.
