WIRING HARNESS REPAIR MANUAL 88 CONNECTORS UNDER SCOPE OF REPAIR-CAR The connector is equipped with two nos. secondary locks, which is stacked one on other. The outer lock is of white color as you can see in the above picture. The removal of secondary locks process is a little bit cumbersome in nature and require your patience and attention to the job. First of all, for removing white colored secondary lock, you can see the slots in corners. Please dip the secondary lock removal tool a little and try to slide out the lock. Try doing this from all possible corners and every time try to lift the lock out and then it will come out. After removing the first secondary lock, you will find another secondary lock of red color (in this case). The similar strategy and attempt is required to take this out too. Once secondary locks are completely out, terminals will become visible. Please insert the primary lock removal tool in the terminal cavity and lift the lock up. Simultaneously, the wire needs to be taken out softly. The back lock shown in the above pic, needs to be opened out using the secondary tool. The primary lock removal tool needs to be inserted the terminal cavity as shown above. After inserting the primary lock removal tool, the wire should be taken out softly from back. Picture-106
