WIRING HARNESS REPAIR MANUAL 72 CONNECTORS UNDER SCOPE OF REPAIR-CAR Please note that it’s secondary lock (pink colored, as in this case) covers the terminal from three sides- top, sideway and down. We need to insert the secondary lock removal tool in such a way that it could first unlock the grip of lance and then slide the lock out. Once secondary lock is taken out, the process of terminal removal to be initiated. The assigned primary lock removal tool is a four-fork device, while inserting the tool in to the locking cavity please ensure that the forks of the tool are pressing the corresponding lances. After proper insertion of the tool, we need to take the wires out softly. Please don’t apply a lateral force on the tool while inserting it in to the locking cavity otherwise the fork parallelism will get disturbed.
