WIRING HARNESS REPAIR MANUAL 49 Picture-45 CONNECTORS UNDER SCOPE OF REPAIR-UV Please note that this particular connector is equipped with two secondary locks- outer one is white as depicted in the above picture and beneath this there is red colored another secondary lock. The removal of these secondary locks need extra effort and care while taking these out. The secondary lock removal tool has to be inserted in the corner cavities and keep in mind that this should not damage the other components of the connector. Once both the secondary locks are taken out, we proceed for primary lock removal process. We need to keep the chamfered portion up of the primary lock removal tool and then insert it in the slot provided above the terminal stud. Please note that all terminals of this connector are NOT under scope of repair, please follow the table given in the picture- 44 for terminals under scope of repair. Please note that there is another secondary lock (Red colored) which also needs to be lifted like previous one. Keep the primary lock removal tool chamfered portion up and insert it above the terminal. The first secondary lock (white colored) needs to be taken out by inserting the tool and lifting the lock up.
