WIRING HARNESS REPAIR MANUAL 28 After removal of secondary lock, primary lock removal tool (as specified in picture- 7) needs to be inserted softly in the cavity keeping an eye on the terminal mouth profile and wire has to be taken out gently. CONNECTORS UNDER SCOPE OF REPAIR-UV The secondary lock position is NOT always fixed to some specific place in connector e.g. say in front side on connector junction area, rather it might be anywhere on the connector as per the design and application of the connector. Complete removal of secondary lock is NOT necessary, many of the times a simple slide out serves the purpose and saves our time and effort.
