WIRING HARNESS REPAIR MANUAL 17 WIRE REPAIR METHOD Cut the splice terminal from the strip using the cutting tool. Place the splice terminal on the fingertip and hold it by pressing the wire over it. Crimp the first half of the splice terminal (Use slot 3-4 for wire up to 2.5 sq mm). Complete the crimping of the remaining other half of the splice terminal. Check the crimped splice terminal surface for flatness and smoothness (No burs should be there, otherwise it will pierce the HST tube while heating). STEPS IMAGES
