15. VTT ACTUATOR

VTT REA (

Rotary electric actuator

) is designed to

directly interface with the Engine Management Unit

(EMU).

It features a rotary output shaft with a high accuracy

contact-less position sensor and has integrated

“smart” electronics containing the motor switching,

diagnostic and control logic.

REMOVAL

1. Disconnect the battery connection.

2. Pull out the Engine cover.

3. Remove the Air Filter assembly.

(Refer air filter

removal procedure).

Disconnect the electrical connection of the tur-

bocharger.
