Customer Symptom

Transmission warning lamp will be ON

Fault Effects (On Vehicle)

1. If Engine OFF, All Gear shift other than the neutral

are disabled.

2. If in running condition; no gear shift allowed,

emergency neutral engagement at low speeds.

3. Creeping Disabled

Lamp Status (If Any)

Transmission warning lamp will be ON

Fault Detection Condition

1. IPC connector is not connected properly or

disconnected from its location.

2. CAN wire from IPC connector side is disconnected

3. IPC is not powered up.

4. CAN_H, CAN_L or/ and both lines of TCM are

opened

5. Wrong data length (less than expected data) from IPC

ECU

Normal Operating Condition

TCM ECU communicates properly with IPC ECU.

Probable Trouble Area

1. Disconnection of the IPC connector

2. CAN_H and CAN_L lines open at TCM connector end

Healing Condition

1. To fix the IPC connector correctly and Fix the wiring

harness issues from IPC side

2. CAN_H, CAN_L or/ and both lines of TCM are

connected properly to the TCM connector
