3. Flip the intermediate plate and assemble the
bearing retainer plate on it.
4. Follow the below procedure to assemble the
front half housing bearing.
A. Install the double row angular bearing of
counter shaft in front housing by taping gently.
5. Properly clean the main shaft and hold the
main shaft vertically as shown in figure.
6. Place needle cage bearing, slide the 2
nd
gear
sub assembly and triple synchro cone pack
on main shaft.
Ensure free rotation of Synchro pack.
NOTE:
Measure the triple synchro cone gap with the help
of feeler gauge. Tolerance specification for gap is
1.15 mm to 1.40 mm.
