10. REMOVAL/INSTALLATION OF WINDOW
GLASS

REMOVAL
l
Remove the inner trim
l
Pull out required portion of plastic membrane.
l
Disconnect windowwindingmotor connector from
wiring harness.
l
Lower window glass by connecting 12V battery
to motor.
l
Remove 2 mounting screws & nuts and lift up
the glass carefully.
INSTALLATION
l
Insert the door glass in the window slot properly.
l
Align mounting holes of door glass and regulator.
Fit 2 screws (M6x10) and tighten the screws with
nuts.
l
Roll up and down the glass and ensure that glass
is moving without binding. Ensure that there is
no gap between glass and glass run mould, when
the glass is lifted up. Use 12V battery for rolling
up and down the glass.
l
Connect windowwindingmotor connector towiring
harness.
l
Apply sealant (Butyl mastic) on the door inner
panel and fix plastic membrane on it.
l
Fit the inner trim.
