Wiper care :

1. Wiper blade attack angle onwind shieldglass should

be 90 deg i.e perpendicular. Fig. 57

Remove wiper blade and rest wiper arm on wind

shield glass in the centre position. Check the gap

betweenarmstripandglass. Adjust by twistingwiper

arm.

2. Lubricate (one drop) hinge joint area in each vehicle

service to achieve proper armpressure. Fig. 58

3. If metal frame of secondary lever is found twisted,

straighten the lever and yoke.

4. If vertebra is foundprotruding out, slide the vertebra

inside the rubber and crimp the claw to prevent if

formcoming out again. Fig. 59

5. Wiper blade shouldnot over ride thewindshieldglass

as the rubber elementmay get damaged.This canbe

adjusted by loosening the wiper arm and resetting,

so that it remains (parallel) above the rubber lining in

theparkingposition.
