9.4. Write VIN Number

For entering VIN number in the ECU, Click the

Write VINnumber, enter the VINnumber and then

click 'OK' Button on the screen. If the VIN number

is successfully entered the message "Data

Written Successfully "appears on the screen.

ECUCommunication Error 1) LEDs Status on the Silicon Engine - Check the OBD cable connection with

Diagnostic Connector of wiring harness.

- Check the OBD cable connection with

Multi protocol Interface module.

- Check the 'DSR' and 'DTR' leds on Silicon

Engine module. If both are Red re-initialise

the unit

2) Com port connection

- Check the com settings.

- Connect RS232 cable to COMPort.

Software Not Working

Corrupt version of Software

Reinstall the software.
