ABS 5.3 SYSTEM TEST

Adapter repairing instructions

The following pages shows on troubleshooting with repair instructions

for ABS5.3 system with attached ECU.

Remarks:

Repairing of hydraulic modulator or AECU are not allowed.

Valve relay and motor relay is not changing. The components that

included in the AECU.

Following Components for changing:

- Hydraulic modulator with attached ECU

- Wheel speed sensors

- Warning lamps (ABS, EBD)

- Brake light switch

- Fuse 10A, path: ignition

- Fuses 60A path: power supply

- lines from wiring harness, connectors, when repair is possible

Attention: Before repairing the system, make sure that power supply is

switched off.

Before changing components, check connectors, wiring,

resistance and so on.
