9.9.2 REMOVAL AND REFITMENT OF END
MODULE:
REMOVAL:
1. Park the car on the two-post lift and lift it up.
2. Remove the front bumper and splash guard –
Refer removal and refitment of front bumper)
3. Disconnect fog lamp connection.
4. Remove both the head lamps and its
electrical connection.
5. Drain the engine coolant in suitable container.
6. Disconnect
radiator
wiring
harness
connection.
7. Evacuate AC system gas using suitable
recycling equipment.
8. Disconnect the condenser inlet and outlet
pipes from the condenser end.
9. Remove the engine hood latch.
10. Disconnect the Engine Outlet (to Radiator
inlet) coolant hose from radiator end.
11. Following procedure is applicable for SDE
engine only.
a) Disconnect the intercooler inlet and outlet
pipe from inter cooler.
b) Disconnect hose radiator vent to auxiliary
tank. c) Disconnect the power steering
cooling loop.
c) Remove the air intake smorket mounting
fasteners on the cooling module.
12. Disconnect the radiator outlet (to Engine inlet)
coolant hose from radiator end.
13. Remove fasteners from bottom bracket of
cooling module.
14. Loose and remove the cooling module
mounting fasteners. (4 on RH and 5 on LH
side).
14 Remove the cooling module from bottom.
