CAUTION
Care should be taken such that self-cancellation
lugs do not get damaged (self-cancellation lugs are
shown in below figure with arrows).
INSPECTION:
Check for any damage to self-cancellation lugs, if
found, replace complete steering wheel
INSTALLATION:
1. Align the marks made on the steering wheel
and the shaft. Install steering wheel on steering
shaft
2. Tighten the steering wheel nut to the
specified torque.
Tightening torque (Steering wheel nut) = 4Kg-m
3. Fit horn pad (Press fit type).
4. Connect battery.
8.2.3.2 STEERING COLUMN REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the connection of battery.
2. Remove steering wheel (

removal procedure).
3. Remove combi switch assembly (

).

4. Remove all screw of nacelle bottom cover.
5. Remove combination switch.
(Refer body
section / Electrical section.)
6. Remove the dashboard (
Refer body section
).
7. Loosen the universal joint bolt between
steering column & intermediate shaft.
NOTE:
Do not reuse the bolts.
