REMOVALOF ENGINE FROMVEHICLE

Remove negative terminal of battery

Remove tailgate, rear bumper & engine rear shelf.

(Refer Body group)

Park the car on a two post lift.

Remove rear tyres.

Release fuel pressure. (Refer Fuel System, Engine

group)

Drain out brake fluid (Refer Brake System).

Disconnect brake pipelines from rear wheel cylinder

/ T-connector.

Drain engine oil and coolant.

Recover refrigerant from HVAC/AC system and

remove HVAC connectors and heater line

connectors (Refer HVAC System).

Disconnect gear shift cables.

Disconnect fuel rail hose.

Declamp vapour line between canister purge valve

& intake manifold.

Remove all electrical connectors of engine harness

spread on cylinder head cover.

Disconnect engine wiring harness frommain wiring

harness/ECU.

Disconnect ECU earthing cable, ECU connector

and main connector.

Declamp engine harness routed on timing cover.

Declamp engine harness routed on radiator duct.

Remove radiator assembly with cover.

Remove silencer along with bracket mounted on

transaxle.

Remove the hose clamp securing air filter housing

and flexible hose (air filter to throttle body).

Disconnect flexible hose (air filter to throttle body)

at air filter housing end.
