4. Remove pop up knob by rotating the knob.
FRONT DOOR LATCH ASSEMBLY (DRIVER
SIDE)
Removal
1. Lift the door window glass in upper most position.
2. Remove front door pad (Refer front door pad removal
procedure)
3. Remove three screws securing latch to the body.
Installation
1. Apply grease to sliding parts.
2. For power windows
(a) Connect the electrical connector and tighten
three mounting bolts of window regulating
motor.
3. Align the window winding mechanism and tighten
all mounting bolts to specified torque.
TIGHTENING TORQUE FOR WINDOW WINDING
BOLTS = 1 Kg-m
4. Fit door window glass. (Refer front door window
glass installation procedure)
5. Fit door pad. (Refer front door pad installation
procedure)
6. Check window operation (power/manual)
NOTE :
Check gears of winding mechanism for wear or
damage.
(c) Take out window regulating motor.
