SUSPENSION

Installation:

1. Install wheel bearing (03) into wheel bearing housing

(02) as follows:

(a) Place wheel bearing housing on hydraulic press.

(b) Press the wheel bearing by using special tool (Part

no.2834 5890 32 02) to insert it into wheel bearing

housing.

2. Fix internal circlip (04) such that it secures wheel

bearing (03) into wheel bearing housing (02)

3. Assemble the hub unit (01) by pressing (use

suitable press) wheel bearing housing into brake

drummounting flange (05).

4. Mount rear hub unit on anchor plate and tighten

the mounting bolts to specified torque.

TIGHTENING TORQUE OF MOUNTING BOLTS OF

WHEEL HUB UNIT = 5 Kg-m

5. Install brake drum and tighten pin (spring dowel)

TIGHTENING TORQUE FOR BRAKE DRUM PIN

(SPRING DOWEL) = 0.6 - 0.8 Kg-m

6. Tighten wheel lock nut (9) to specified torque. Fix

thrust washer (08) and hub cap (10)

TIGHTENING TORQUE FOR WHEEL LOCK NUT = 17

Kg-m

7. Install wheel and tighten wheel mounting bolts to

specified torque.

TIGHTENING TORQUE FOR WHEEL MOUNTING

BOLTS = 8 - 8.3 Kg-m

8. Remove supports and lower the vehicle.
