ENGINE 273 MPFI
CYLINDER HEAD
Removal Procedure:
•
Remove negative terminal of battery
Precaution:
Ensure that the removed terminal is away from the
battery negative post.
•
Drain Engine Coolant. (Refer Engine Coolant Drain
procedure)
•
Disconnect all electrical sensor & actuator
connectors routed on cylinder head i.e.. TPS,
TMAP, CPV (Canister Purge Valve).
•
Declamp harness from timing cover.
•
Disconnect the high tension cables from spark plug
end.
•
Remove Intake Manifold alongwith Throttle Body.
(Refer Intake Manifold Removal Procedure)
•
Remove Exhaust Manifold by unscrewing four
mounting bolts. (Refer Exhaust Manifold Removal
Procedure)
•
Remove the cylinder head cover by unscrewing the
six hexagonal mounting bolts
•
Disconnect the Injector electrical connections.
•
Lock the Flywheel using TDC Lock Pin (Part No. :
2834 5890 06 14) and Cam Shaft using TDC Lock
Plate (Part No. : 2834 5890 06 20 ).
