OILFILTERREPLACEMENT
•
Position the car on a two post lift.
•
Drain the Engine Oil. (for procedure refer Engine
Oil Drain Procedure).
•
Access the oil filter through the gap between wheel
arch and wheel.
•
Unscrew the oil filter with the help of special tool
Spanner (Part No. 2834 5890 06 15) and take it
out.
•
Clean the oil filter mounting area properly to remove
any foreign particles, dust.
•
Position the new oil filter with ‘O’ ring and hand
tighten initially. Use special tool Spanner (Part No.
2834 5890 06 15) to tighten further.
Ensure that there should not be any oil leakage
through the oil filter when engine is started after
replacement of oil filter.
Don’t over tighten the oil filter which may lead to
damage to filter and or central mounting bolt causes
oil leakage.
Don’t reuse the oil filter / ‘O’ ring.
