Removal

1. Recover the refrigerant using Refrigerant Recovery

Unit (RRU) (Refer Refrigerant Recovery, Recycling

and Recharging procedure)

2. Disconnect battery.

3. Remove steering wheel (Refer Steering wheel

removal procedure/Steering group)

4. Remove combi switch assembly (Refer Combi

Switch removal procedure/Body Electrical group)

5. Remove Instrument Cluster (Refer Instrument

Cluster removal procedure/Body Electrical group)

6. Remove HVAC control assembly (Refer HVAC

Control assembly removal procedure/HVAC group)

7. Remove two screws of bottom cover nacelle.

8. Remove four bolts securing steering column

assembly to the mounting bracket and carefully rest

the steering column on the floor.

9. Remove two side covers attached to the

dashboard.

10.Unscrew the spare wheel knob and remove spare

wheel.

11. Drain engine coolant. (Refer coolant draining

procedure/ Engine Cooling system)

12.Loosen the nut at expansion valve end and

disconnect refrigerant lines/pipes.
