1.2L REVOTRON ENGINE 117 VI. Removal of Timing Chain 1. Remove crankshaft front oil seal. 2. Remove Timing Cover Front with front oil seal. 3. Keep the piston at top dead center by rotating crankshaft. 4. Lock the flywheel 5. Remove the camshaft carrier. 6. Soft loosen the Intake and exhaust camshaft VCT before removal of timing chain 7. Lock the tensioner by using locking pin and remove the tensioner. SPECIAL TOOL Pin-Timing chain tensioner plunger locking – 5424 5890 06 04 8. Remove movable guide rail.
