ELECTRICAL 8 TELL TALES INDICATOR REMARKS Rear Passengers Seat Belt Indicator The Rear Passengers seatbelt warning indicator turns ON when ignition is turned ON. Rear seat belts reminder turns ON irrespective to occupants, the warning lamp remains ON for around 60 seconds if the Rear seatbelts are not fastened for all Rear seats If the Rear seatbelt remains unbuckled and vehicle goes above 15 kmph, then final audio warning will go on for 30 seconds & Seat belt tell-tale light will blink when audio alarm is active. Note: Once the seatbelt is fastened the buzzer and warning lamp turns OFF Immobilizer Warning Indicator This symbol is of a system that disables engine starting if User do not use the original key. The user has to use original key for authentication and unlocking the car. Refer to Immobilizer section for details. Lamp Blink: Car is in immobilized condition when key is not inserted. Lamp OFF: Normal condition (Authenticated user) and engine shall start. Lamp ON: Problem with key/system. Get the problem attended to at TATA authorized Service center. Check Engine Lamp This is symbol lights up when the ‘IGN’ is turned ‘ON’ and should go ‘OFF’ after the engine starts. CAUTION: This symbol shall remain ‘ON’ for any engine related fault that may cause damage to engine. Take your car to a TATA Authorized service center. Cruise Control This symbol lights up when the ‘IGN’ is turned ‘ON’ and shall go ‘OFF’ after 4 sec. The Cruise Control is used to indicate the status of cruise control system to the driver. Lamp ON indicates cruise control feature is present and it is activated. DRL Lamp This symbol lights up when the ‘IGN’ is turned ‘ON’ and shall go ‘OFF’ after 4 sec. This symbol comes ON when the Day Time Running lamp is ‘ON’. City Lamp When ignition is turned ‘ON’, this symbol comes ‘ON’ for four seconds and goes ‘OFF’. CITY lamp ON indicates City drive mode. This mode is used to achieve optimum torque with fuel economy ECO Lamp When ignition is turned ‘ON’, this symbol comes ‘ON’ for four seconds and goes ‘OFF’. ECO lamp ON indicates Economy drive. This mode is used to achieve better fuel economy. SPORT Lamp This symbol lights up when the ‘IGN’ is turned ‘ON’ and goes ‘OFF’ after 4 seconds. This symbol comes ON when SPORT driving mode is activated when more torque is required. Press Brake / Clutch (Used in PEPS Vehicles) This symbol lights up when the ‘IGN’ is turned ‘ON’ and remains ON until user press clutch to start the engine. This symbol is turns OFF when vehicle is in Cranking / Running Mode. Key Not Detected (Used in PEPS Vehicles) This symbol lights up when the Valid UID (User Identification Device) is not detected inside the vehicle.
