ELECTRICAL 8 TELL TALES COLOR INDICATOR REMARK Note: Once the seat belt is fastened, the buzzer and warning indicator will go ‘OFF’. Seat belt audio alarm remains OFF when reverse gear is engaged. Immobilizer Red This symbol is of a system that disables vehicle starting if User do not use the original key. The user has to use original key for authentication and unlocking the car. Refer to Immobilizer section for details. Lamp Blink: Car is in immobilized condition when key is not inserted. Lamp OFF: Normal condition (Authenticated user) and vehicle shall start. Lamp ON: Problem with key/system. Get the problem attended to at TATA authorized Service center. Check Engine Lamp Amber This symbol lights up when the ‘IGN’ is turned ‘ON’ and shall go ‘OFF’ after 4 sec. Caution: Illuminates continuously if a fault arises in Engine Management System. Contact the TATA MOTORS Authorized Service Centre. Speed Limit lamp Amber When the vehicle speed cross 80 km/hrs., Speed limit Warning indicator turn ‘ON’ along with chime for every 2 minute one beep (Audible warning) When the vehicle speed is reduce below 75 km/hrs, Speed limit Warning Indicator and chime will get turns ‘OFF’ If vehicle speed crosses 120 km/hrs. Speed limit Warning indicator turn ‘ON’ along with chime for every 2 sec one beep (Audible warning) When the vehicle speed is reduce below 115 km/hrs., Speed limit Warning Indicator and chime will work as defined in point 1 EPAS Fault indicator Amber This feature monitors the Electric Power Steering system state to warn the driver in case of EPAS malfunction. Door Open Indicator Red This feature monitors the Door Input and warns Driver if any Door is Open Transmission Oil Temperature High Indicator Amber This feature monitors the transmission Oil temperature and warns the driver, if it is beyond an acceptable threshold. Note: Only applicable to AMT/DCT vehicles PEPS Indication (IGN & ACC) Green Amber This feature monitors the IGN and ACC status and Indicate to Driver if IGN is ON or ACC is ON. ESS Auto Start Lamp Green This feature monitors the ESS states and shows the current status of ESS.
