HV ELECTRICAL SYSTEM 54 C. HV BATTERY REMOVAL 1. Refer Instructions for working on HV Components mention before starting work. 2. Refer Instructions of HV connector Lock removal process before starting work 3. Remove Aux Battery negative terminal and Put masking tape on Aux Battery negative terminal & cable. 4. Disconnect the Service disconnect switch of HV and LV. NOTE: Wait for 10 minutes. 5. Remove the 4 bolts and 4 push on nuts and remove the stone gaurd. 6. Remove the chassis ground cable connected to HV battery assembly. 7. Disconnect and Remove the connector and powertrain harness connected to HV battery assembly 8. NOTE: ‘BCS aux. tank cap must be in open condition while draining coolant’. 9. Loosen the coolant hose and drain the coolant 10. Disconnect the coolant hoses.
