7. Carefully remove the seal from the caliper pot/cylinder groove, use proper tool. 2. ASSEMBLY OF CALIPER 1. Insert seal into groove by rolling the index finger over the seal. 2. Insert boot piston into boot groove by rolling the index finger over the boot seating area. NOTE Do not use any metal part with sharp edge to remove the boot piston and ensure dust prevention in the cylinder after removing. NOTE Do not use any metal part with sharp edge, ensure no cut mark, scratch in the seal groove, and ensure no damage in the seal groove. Drain the excess oils from the caliper and clean the caliper thoroughly only with isopropyl alcohol NOTE When assembling the seal, ensure in the cylinder groove is free from damage, the bore is smeared with oil. Apply (smear) enough grease to the seal before assembly, inspect the seal for no cut, tear damage and splashes, and after assembly ensure the seal has been seated well in the groove by rolling the index finger over the seal.
