CLOCK SPRING ALIGNMENT PROCEDURE Turn the clock spring in anticlockwise direction • for 2.5 rotations from this extreme position. This will be the straight ahead position of the clock spring. The straight ahead position of the clock spring • can be confirmed by arranging two arrows in front of each other as shown in figure • Assemble the clock spring in this position. • CAUTION If this alignment is not done the clock spring • may get severely damage. Rotate the clock spring rotor in clockwise • direction till it reaches the maximum limit of rotation. SRS 32
