FITMENT For fitment follow reverse procedure of removal. SIDE AIRBAG (SAB) • Side-impact airbags are located in the seats and inflate between the seat occupant and the door. These airbags are designed to reduce the risk of injury to the occupant. ON VEHICLE SERVICE REMOVAL 1. Open the back cover of the seat. 2. Disconnect the electrical connector. 3. Loosen and remove two mounting nuts of side air bag assembly. 4. Carefully pull out the side air bag assembly from the seat. FITMENT For fitment follow reverse procedure of removal. NOTE Connector needs to be assembled before air • bag module fitment with CCB. NOTE Disconnect the vehicle battery and wait for 10 min before commencing work on side airbag. SRS 24
