B- Chamber ON VEHICLE SERVICE ECU REMOVAL 1. Disconnect the battery connections. 2. Remove Gear shifter knob and Cover. (For procedure refer floor console removal in BODY section). 3. Remove the assembly floor console rear (For procedure refer floor console removal in BODY section). 4. Remove the Induction charger bin. (For procedure refer floor console removal in BODY section). 5. Remove the floor console front. (For procedure refer floor console removal in BODY section). 6. Disconnect the electrical connection from the air bag ECU and remove the ECU assembly. 7. Loosen and remove the mounting nuts. FITMENT For fitment follow reverse procedure of removal. PRECAUTIONS If the ECU is accidentally dropped on the • concrete floor from the height of more than 1m then that ECU should not be used on a vehicle. ECU should be transported with proper packing • material. Always store the ECU in dry place. • A person handling any restraints module • assembly shall have to wear ESD (electrostatic discharge) straps to reduce any risk of inadvertent deployment.
