NEW NEXON EV SERVICE MANUAL

FATC 59 19. PRECAUTION FOR E-COMPRESSOR LUBRICATING OIL  It is important to pay attention to the type of oil used in an E-Compressor, as it differs from the oil used in mechanical driven compressors. Oil used in E-Compressor is PVE:- FVC56EA/FVC68D.  PVE:-FVC56EA/FVC68D oil is very sensitive to moisture in the A/C system. Moisture can create sludge, and may cause the refrigerant system failure / reduce the electrical insulation  The Operator or Technician shall understand it & prevent moisture ingression into the A/C system (Do not leave the HVAC components without caps)  To protect the refrigerant system from moisture, a proper amount of desiccant is also required  The oil used in conventional belt driven compressors is “Polyalkylene glycol” (PAG) lubricant which has very low volume resistivity (high conductive characteristic). It is strictly prohibited to mix PVE-FVC56EA/FVC68D oil with PAG oil  Even Mixing of very small amount of PAG oil can reduce the electrical insulation resistivity dramatically once it is mixed. This includes any PAG oil contained in leak detection dyes, and the PAG oil that remains in the A/C service equipment like A/C pipes or O ring, hoses after use which leads to compressor failure.
