FATC 51 M. CHILLER UNIT REMOVAL Type – Plate type chiller 1. Open the bonnet of the vehicle. 2. Remove Aux Battery negative terminal and Put masking tape on Aux Battery negative terminal & cable. 3. Discharge the refrigerant using standard recovering equipment. (Refer maintenance section.) 4. Drain coolant from BCS system by disconnecting coolant hose from HV battery. 5. Remove Electrical connection on chiller unit. 6. Remove the mounting nut and disconnect the Suction line and the discharge pipes from chiller TXV and take out AC pipes. 7. Remove spring band clamps from coolant inlet outlet pipes of Chiller. 8. Remove Chiller mounting screw and take out Chiller. CAUTION Never leave chiller joints open, immediately cover with caps. Check condition of ‘O’ ring while reassembly of AC pipes at Chiller TXV. FITMENT Follow the reverse procedure of removal.
