2. STEERING HARD COMPLAINT IS HARD Kindly ensure the below check points. 1. Reason for EPAS 2. Light / Indicator ON in Cluster EPAS system function problem. • EPAS OHP control. • Non OEM electronic fitment issue may affect EPAS functional system. • Wiring harness connection issue. • 3. Basic action if the EPAS indicator light ON. Stop the vehicle in safe zone and restart the engine after 5mins. • If the indicator light on and stay on immediately follow the below check points. • SR NO PARAMETER CHECK POINTS OBSERVATION/ACTIO N BY DEALERSHIP 1 Customer voice 1. Collect details from end user for complaint condition / field failure phenomena. 2. Check for when, how, where, etc., 2 Test drive vehicle 1. Check for steering feeling hard 2.Check in static / dynamic condition. 3 Warning lamp check 1. Check for steering light ON in cluster (PS light) 2. Ensure continuous glow 4 DTC check 1. Check for DTC with Diagnostic tool. 2. Ensure DTC in active condition. 5 Wiring harness 1.Check EPAS ECU wiring connectors locked properly (Power, CAN, Tq. Sensor & Motor connectors) 2. Ensure any damage / tamper. 6 DTC check 1.Again check for DTC with Diagnostic tool. 2. Ensure DTC in active condition 7 Visual inspection 1. Check for EPAS / ECU related wiring damage. 2.
