Remove Steering Column Pivot mounting bolt. 15. Hold the Steering column with the hook (5123 16. 5890 2403) to avoid to fall down & damage of steering column & injury to operator. Image for illustration purpose only Remove the 2 nos mounting bolts. 17. WARNING Hold the steering column to aviod sudden fall of the steering column that can cause injury to operator. WARNING Never lift steering column by holding • servo unit. Never lift steering column by holding tilt • lever. Never keep steering column resting on • servo unit. Handle with care while • transport/movement. Do not use the steering column if • dropped. Always disconnect the battery while • replacing column/servo unit. The steering column shall be replaced in • service in case of damage in a vehicle accident. The steering column shall not be repaired • in any means.
