SUSPENSION_MR 41 F. TORSION BEAM 1. Position the vehicle in the two post lift. 2. Remove the wheel cap and loosen wheel nuts. 3. Lift the vehicle using two post lift. 4. Remove the wheel. 5. Slacken off the hand brake cable. 6. Insert a screwdriver through the hole in drum and press against the hand brake lever. 7. A ‘click’ will be heard as the lever moves down. This movement compresses the pistons in the wheel cylinder and thereby increases the clearance between the brake shoes and the drum. 8. REAR BRAKE DRUM BEARING REMOVAL Fit the special tool part no (2871 5890 4202) to the brake drum and pry out the bearing using press after removing the circlip over it CAUTION: Bearing removed from brake drum should not be reused again. 9. REAR BRAKE DRUM BEARING FITMENT Insert the new bearing to the brake drum using the bearing installer special tool part no (2871 5890 4202) as shown in the Figure.
