Execute Service Test Routine for BCM ECU 20. a. Execute BCM EOL Self-test routine (31 01 20 01) b. Read the DTCs from BCM ECU with the help of diagnostic tool. If any DTC is present follow the respective troubleshooting procedure to it. c. Execute Input switch test routine (31 01 34 09 06) d. Read Input switch test routine results with the help of diagnostic tool. If any DTC is present follow the respective DTC troubleshooting procedure to rectify it. MAJOR PRECAUTIONS FOR REPLACEMENT 1. While replacing the BCMs, it is suggested not to touch the BCM pins with hand. 2. While tightening the screws, tightening torque must not exceed 3. BCM upper and lower covers shall not be removed while verifying/replacing the BCM. 4. All of the service tool instructions for BCM replacement shall be followed. 5.
