Q. MONOSTABLE SHIFTER ASSEMBLY FOR AMT AND DCT TRANSMMISION Introduction of Mono-Stable Shifter: In a mono stable shifter, the gear knob comes • back to the original position, even after user has slotted it in the desired gear. Mono stable shifter uses Shift by Wire • mechanism (SbW). Depending upon gear requested by Monostable • shifter, TCU gives the command to SbW Gear Actuator. Actuator actuates Transmission position • (P/R/N/D) and then TCU understand the engaged gear by the actuator . TCU here acts a master. Upon the gear engagement by SbW gear • Actuator, TCU gives the feedback to Monostable shifter, shifter illuminates the LED for desired gear position. AT TCU communicates with Monostable shifter • & SbW gear Actuator over Private CAN bus. Features of Mono Stable Shifter: Park Mode Separate Switch • Plunger/Knob/Unlock Button • Paddle Shifter hardwired interface with • Instrument cluster LED Display on Shifter (P/R/N/D) • Interface of gear shifter with TCU • FUNCTIONALITY OF MONOSTABLE I.
