WARNING WRT DCT AND GEAR SHIFTER 14. LEVER 1. “Shift to Park or Neutral to start Engine“ displayed on IC. When user try to crank the vehicle and Gear • Shifter position is other than PARK/Neutral, there will be message on IPC “Shift to Park or Neutral to Start Engine”. So that user will move the Gear Shifter to P/N to crank the vehicle. 2. ”Shift to Park (P) to Exit“ display on IC. When user try to switch off the vehicle and Gear Shifter position other than PARK, then “Shift to Park (P) to Exit” message will get display on IPC. So that user will move the Gear Shifter to Park Position. 3. “Upshift Recommendation” display in IC. Vehicle at running condition (lets assume it is 3rd gear) in Manual mode and User Press accelerator pedal, Upshift recommendation turns ON on Instrument cluster. 4. “Downshift Recommendation” display in IC. Vehicle at running condition in Manual mode (lets assume it is in 3rd gear) and User Gradually press the brake, then Downshift recommendation is turned ON On Instrument Cluster. (up arrow will convert into down arrow). 5. Transmission Oil temp High: When Transmission is Over heated (Oil • temperature exceeds 125°C > 10 s. OR Oil temperature exceeds 120°C > 30min.), then Instrument Cluster will display Transmission tell-tale, message and buzzer. If user still drives the vehicle with above • warning, then oil temperature goes up then transmission failure related warning will come on Instrument Cluster. 6.
