GSM WARNING MESSAGES Following warning messages will be displayed on Instrument Cluster: If brake is pressed and unlocked/ knob/ plunger button is not pressed then, • “Press unlock to shift gear” message will be displayed If brake is not pressed and unlock button/ knob/ plunger is pressed then, • “Press brake and unlock button to shift gear ” message will be displayed If both brake and unlock / knob/ plunger button is not pressed then, • “Press brake and unlock button to shift gear” message will be displayed If vehicle speed is more than 5kmph and when the user presses the Park button then, • “Speed too high to park” message will be displayed E. DO’S & DON’TS FOR MSS 1. Do’s Vehicle will be cranked only when gear shifter is in Park or Neutral and brake pedal & Plunger is pressed. • Vehicle speed is more than 0kmph & less than 5kmph (calibratable value) to shift gears no plunger or brake • input is required. D to R, first vehicle will come to steady state and then starts to move in reverse direction. • R to D, first vehicle will come to steady state and then starts to move in forward direction. • Shift to P from R/N/D will only happen when vehicle is in standstill condition. • 2. Don’ts Whenever gear shifting is attempted in R/N/D out of P without plunger press then Message to press brake • & plunger will be displayed on cluster along with gear shifter highlighting plunger position and brake pedal image. Do not shift the gear from D to R or R to D without brake & plunger press. If the gear is shifted from D to R • or R to D without brake press & plunger press then Neutral will engaged. Do not shift the gear from N to D or N to R without pressing brake & plunger. If it is done vehicle will stay • in Neutral. Do not engage “P” or press PARK button while the vehicle is in running condition. If it is done then “Please • shift to P when vehicle is standstill” will be displayed on cluster along with chime.
