REMOVAL OF INTAKE MANIFOLD II. 1. Remove the electronic throttle valve. 2. Remove the EGR pipe. 4. Remove the EGR intake and outlet hoses. 5. Remove the dipstick support bracket. 6. Remove the EGR cooler. 7. Remove the H.P. fuel line connected to the fuel rail. 8. Remove air intake elbow. 9.Remove the intake manifold with air temperature sensor. NOTE Cover the opening of the fuel rail with • suitable plugs. Do not reuse the HP pipes once removed; • use new HP pipes at the time of assembly. Diesel Engine Ph-2 (CAFÉ) 142
