5. FUEL TANK REMOVAL 1. Place the vehicle on a 2 poster lift. 2. Disconnect the electrical connections of the intank pump and the fuel lines. (For Removal Refer Tank Unit removal process). 3. Disconnect the fuel filler hose and the breather hose. 4. Support the fuel tank from below. 5. Remove the parking brake cable routed on the tank’s parking brake clamp. 6. Remove the four mounting bolts from tank and lower the tank carefully. INSPECTION Check all hoses and pipes connected to fuel • tank for leaks, loose connections, deterioration or damage. Replace if necessary. Check fuel pump and fuel level gauge gaskets • for leaks, cracks etc. Replace if necessary. Visually inspect fuel tank for leaks and damage. • Replace if necessary. Check TPV for dust accumulation. Clean if • required. FITMENT For fitment follow removal procedure in reverse. Diesel Engine Ph-2 (CAFÉ) 121
