G. VACUUM MANAGEMENT SYSTEM Vacuum Lines Schematic Layout Description The Vacuum management system is provided for controlling / operating the plunger of variable nozzle turbocharger. The Vacuum pump provides vacuum / negative pressure to the VSV and brake booster. The NRV and brake booster helps in vehicle performance viz uninterrupted acceleration through gears after repeated brake stops. The brake booster is mounted on firewall. The Vacuum system consists of the following components. 1. Vacuum pump. 2. Vacuum Solenoid Valve (VSV). Component: Vacuum Pump The vacuum Pump supplies vacuum to the turbocharger (VGT) through VSV.
