AC COMPRESSOR, ALTERNATOR BELT VII. REPLACEMENT REMOVAL 1. Lift the vehicle and remove the Splash guard. 2. Remove the RH side wheel arch liner. 3. Remove the RH side front mud liner. 4. Insert the alternator belt removal special tool (part no. 5427 5890 0602) as shown and rotate the crankshaft pulley in clockwise direction to pop out the belt; then remove the alternator belt. 5. Insert the AC compressor belt removal special tool (part no. 5438 5890 0601) as shown and rotate the crankshaft pulley in anticlockwise direction to pop out the belt; then remove the AC compressor belt.
